WHY WE WERE INVITED TO THE ELECTRIC MOTORBIKE PROJECT – Because we are a group of enthusiasts from different fields, united by one thing: our passion for motorbikes and adrenaline. We decided to step out of our own box and embark on a journey to discover the new dimensions that modern electric technology brings to the moto-world. For us and all the other users who dare to try out the capabilities of the ARCTIC LEOPARD electric motorcycle, it will be an unforgettable challenge that will give many existing traditional motorcycle users a different perspective on the future of motorcycling. ARCTIC LEOPARD is a company that has achieved remarkable results in a very short space of time: they have produced electric motorcycles that are on a par with conventional motorcycles in terms of weight, range, power and, consequently, price competitiveness.
The Arctic Leopard electric motorcycle is designed for all target groups in the world of offroad/enduro motorcycling from complete beginners, recreational riders to professional riders. We are convinced that this is the case by the innovative technology of the “VTB” mobile app, which allows the individual/user of an electric motorbike to adjust the riding parameters according to his/her knowledge and experience.
A great proof that the Chinese company is on the right track to great success, both at recreational and competitive level, is the result of their participation in the Dakar Rally, where they achieved outstanding results with their electric motorcycle. They finished the Dakar in third place in the M1000 class and have won virtually every hill climb competition. They have eliminated all the drawbacks in terms of range and weight, and the associated cost of the motorcycle.
One of the many advantages that can be pointed out under the current law is the undisturbed use of the motorcycle itself in the countryside, as you do not disturb yourself, animals or other visitors by making noise. Simply enjoy the effortless driving offered by the gearless power unit, the instantaneous response of the potentiometer lever, the full flexibility of the engine’s torque and power response, the outstanding grip on rough terrain and the carefree, guilt-free long drives in the countryside. The undeniable fact that the electric motorbike is a top-performance ( low battery consumption ), CO2-free and environmentally friendly motorbike, and that it is quiet in operation, has some advantages such as instant torque, excellent responsiveness, advanced batteries with long range and long life ( currently among the longest in the electric motorbike class), and its reliability is suitable for everyday use in all weather conditions and in all seasons of the year. It should be pointed out that this type of engine is easier to maintain, less expensive than petrol engines, and has lower running costs or ownership costs (a full charge costs between €0.35 and €0.50, no oil changes, no general servicing, no valve adjustments, no cleaning of air filters, etc.).
Approved motorcycles also come with a subsidy (€750 for natural/legal persons and VAT deduction for legal persons only), and financing will be available to make the purchase of a motorcycle affordable for everyone. It will be possible to rent a motorbike and test the bike with an experienced person if desired.
